How we Invest
Lexico seeks long-term capital appreciation by committing equity to high quality companies with strong management to execute acquisition or expansion. We seek to generate superior returns in a variety of situations, including direct equity investments, leveraged buy-outs, recapitalizations, growth investments and stressed/distressed investments.
Lexico's rigorous investment approach has consistently produced excellent returns for our funds and limited partners. Lexico partners maintain close relationships with a pool of senior operational executives from diverse industry backgrounds. Many have led several Lexico's portfolio companies during the period of our ownership. Lexico works closely with the management of our investee firms to ensure the company performs to its full potential. This philosophy underpins the excellent performance of all investment worldwide.
Lexico invests in businesses which exhibit the following attributes:
- Enterprise value of SGD 1 million to SGD 10 million.
- Talented and experienced management with a strong sense of integrity
- Opportunities for growth either organically or through acquisition
- Stable cash flows with EBITA of at least SGD 1million
- Above average returns on internally invested capital, preferably more than 15%.
